It wasn't too bad. Once he sedated me and gave me the IV, I was out. The next thing I really remember is waking up on my bed with a bunch of gauze in my mouth and ice packs on my cheeks. :P
Now that it's over, I just have to take the antibiotics and pain medicine. The next couple of days will probably be kind of painful, so if you could say a prayer for me, I'd really appreciate it! I still can't swallow pills (ah, frustrating!), so I'm having to take some yucky liquid medicine. Oh well. I'm just glad that's even an option!
Anyway, I have some pictures to share with y'all from a little "4th of July" day trip we took, but that will have to wait. Hopefully it won't take me too long to recover from this and get back to my normal life! :)

I just had my wisdom teeth taken out last month, so I know how icky that can be! I am glad that your sedation went well... I wasn't as lucky and didn't react so well to the laughing gas...
I will definitely be praying for you! Eat lots of soft foods (Jello became my best friend that week!) and treat yourself to some movies and tv shows :)

I've heard how painful that can be - hope you're feeling better!
I had mine taken out on Dec 22 '09. I was pretty much normal about a week later. The worst part for me was having to clean the "holes" with warm salt water.

I had mine out two years ago, so I can definitely relate! It took me about two weeks to start feeling almost normal, but I've heard of other people only needing two days! Reading back over that made me laugh... Obviously, the medication they'd given me that day was still working well.

Awww, my poor girl!! =) I remember that WAY to clearly! Only I had eight wisdom teeth. Yeah... weird, right? Well, they took all eight out and now I weight five pounds less!! jk, jk, jk.... but seriously, they did take eight teeth out so I can totally feel for you!! And I know precisely how to pray! =)
