But... I do have quite a few shots to show y'all today. I took these at a rural life museum we visited. It was a really neat place! They had a *beautiful* garden area, lots of old, historic buildings, and the museum itself was full of interesting things. There were carriages, old farming tools, furniture... there was so much to see, we didn't even get to look at it all!
Here are some of the many pictures I was able to get:
This big guy greeted us when we first arrived. ;)
A pretty garden path. It kind of reminds me of The Secret Garden. :)

I love these flowers! I don't even know what they're called (maybe one of you will be able to tell me?).
This bench was so neat! The scrolling details especially...
This little tree was so cute! *wink*
Notice the moss hanging from the trees! ♥
There's my family wayyy up there. Yeah, I kind of fell behind trying to take pictures of everything. :D
We came across these geese near one of the buildings we were looking at.
Bokeh makes me happy. <3

This museum was so much fun. :) I hope y'all enjoyed all of the pictures! I wasn't planning on including so many, but they just kept coming. ;)
Have a wonderful rest-of-the-week, everyone!!

Beautiful photos, Lindsay!
The flower you were asking about (If no one has commented before me) is Echinacea or cone flower. They come in several different colors. I am growing ruby red cone flowers. :-)
Thanks so much for sharing!
It looks like a fun trip!
Blessings,
Leah
Wow beautiful!
The pretty purple flowers are called Echinacea! I love them too and my mom grows them in our garden. However in Maine they don't bloom until much later in the summer season ;)

Echinacea also know as Coneflowers is a really good flower for herbal medicine.
